Boxed set of Viners 'Sable' fruit spoons

This original boxed set of Sable spoons was designed by Gerald Benney (1930-2008). Sable was one of Viner's long-running designs, with simple grooved lines down the handles, this set comprises a larger serving spoon and six matching fruit or dessert spoons.
Gerald Benney worked for Viners designing products between 1957-1969. Benney was a trained silversmith and was influenced by Scandinavian designs, particularly the work of Georg Jensen.
There is a little damage to some of the box corners, but the cutlery appears to be unused.
