A studio pottery bowl with a handpainted floral decoration and fluted rim, made by Denis Ruthven (1925-2001) of Nympton Pottery, Bishop Nympton, North Devon. Tin-glazed stoneware, with decoration in blue and green of a trailing flowering vine on the interior, and a green line around the rim and the exterior. Stamped on the base with the NP pottery mark.
