Abstract painting of reeds, brambles and hedgerow painted in 1990, probably Snape Maltings by Pamela Dan (nee Watson) (1938-2018), who lived and worked in Wivenhoe, Essex. Dan trained at the Colchester College of Art and then the Royal College of Art, before settling down in Wivenhoe where she worked painting the local landscapes from the 1970s onwards.
