Extending Edwardian Sheraton-revival dining table - seating 6 to 8 people

A charming Edwardian Sheraton-revival extendable dining table, suitable for seating up to eight people. The table extends by a winding mechanism operated by the accompanying handle. The table top has a beautiful woodgrain and the legs are inlaid with boxwood or satinwood veneer, with a brass wheel castor at the end of each leg. The extra leaf for the table top is darker than the rest of the top, as it has been used less often. The table top could be repolished to colour match all sections, although the current patina and marks show the story of life in a family home and the many meals shared!
