A lovely example of the Ravenhead Glass 'Flair' bowl designed by Alexander Hardie Williamson in the 1960s or 1970. Part of a larger 'Flair' range of glass tableware and decorative items, using 'bark' or 'ice' textured surfaces which epitomises the style of glass designers of the period.
Ravenhead had been known as United Glass Tableware Ltd until 1972, when it was rebranded and became a leading producer of stylish but affordable domestic glassware including the Siesta and Flair ranges.
