Vintage Globemaster ruby red, spherical soda siphon
The perfect, stylish-epitomisation of the 1960s and 70s drinks tray! This ruby red Sparklets Globemaster soda siphon with black and silver mechanism, made by Sparklets Ltd of Tottenham, London, was used to carbonate water to make the classic whisky and soda or a Tom Collins.
Soda siphons were used to produce the carbonated soda water suitable for making a whisky and soda or campari and soda, the de rigeur drinks of the 1960s and 1970s!
The Globemaster range was launched in 1960 and all siphon production ended at Sparklets in 1981. (Gas cartridges are not included).
