A 1930s tango glass vase, probably by the Franz Welz glassworks
Produced in the 1930s in Bohemia/Czechoslovakia (as it then was) this striking acid yellow 'tango' glass vase with a six-pointed, blue-tipped rim was most likely produced by the Franz Welz glassworks in Klostergrab/Hrob in the modern Czech Republic.
Tango glass usually comes in bright orange, yellow or pale blue and has a contrasting applied decoration in a trailed glass.
